About Mark Kabins

Educated at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the University of Illinois at Chicago, seasoned surgeon Dr. Mark Kabins holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology and a Doctor of Medicine. An excellent student, Dr. Kabins is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society and earned Bronze Tablet status, which recognized his place in the top 3% of his undergraduate class. During medical school, he earned a place in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and was a finalist for the Otto Saphir Memorial Award in Pathology. After completing his MD, Dr. Mark Kabins went on to perform his internship as well as a residency in orthopaedics at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. With this foundation, he earned a spinal fellowship position at the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, California.

Dr. Mark Kabins has nearly 25 years of experience in medicine and currently practices at Las Vegas Neurosurgery, Orthopaedics, and Rehabilitation, LLP. In his own practice, Dr. Mark Kabins enjoys getting to know his patients and exploring their treatment choices together. Many spinal injuries and problems can be sufficiently treated without surgery, but Dr. Mark Kabins also provides a full range of surgical options. Commonly, he sees many patients after strokes, trauma, or surgery. He works to support patients throughout their treatment, remaining engaged even after surgery has been completed. Outside of his dedication to his work, Dr. Mark Kabins is an extremely devoted father and husband. He spends a great deal of time together with his family, supporting them in sports, music, and educational activities. He also enjoys taking family walks with their dog, Bently.
